Lorenzo Lamas (born January 20, 1958) is an Argentine American actor. Lamas is known for playing Lance Cumson on the popular 1980s soap opera Falcon Crest, Reno Raines on the 1990s crime drama Renegade, and Hector Ramirez on the daytime soap opera The Bold and The Beautiful. Lamas appeared in reality television, served as a judge on ABC television's short-lived Are You Hot? and starred in his own reality show, Leave it to Lamas, a series about his real-life family. Lamas told the Minnesota-based KQRS Morning Show during a January 14, 2013, interview that his father, actor Fernando Lamas, could have done Chrysler Cordoba commercials and star in Fantasy Island instead of Ricardo Montalbán, but he had an aversion to doing commercials and a television series. Lamas revealed that afterwards Terri Traen of the KQRS Morning Show confused Lamas' father with Montalbán.
